It’s beginning to look a lot like the holidays around here! ‘Tis the season to be merry. No matter the interest, we’ve got fun, festive events that are fitting for anyone. With our variety of holiday-themed gatherings, it’s easy to see why everyone here is so cheerful with the spirit of the season. Here are a few reasons why the holidays are always happy at Soleil:
Events for foodies
If you’re into delicious food and drinks, Soleil has plenty of options to choose from. There’s the Holiday Cheer party on December 6, National Brownie Day on December 9, an off-site wine-tasting and luncheon at Big Door Vineyards on December 11, and the Les Marmitons Holiday Gala Party on December 14. The Canyon Cookers are also doing their famous Gingerbread House Decorating on December 14 and 15, which is fun (and yummy) for the whole family.
Events for fitness enthusiasts
For our tennis and pickleball fanatics, we have a Soleil Racquet Club Holiday Party on December 7. This event includes dinner, dancing, and raffle prizes. And for our golfers, the Men’s and Ladies Golf Associations are having their annual holiday party on December 8 in the Ballroom.
Events for music and theater lovers
What are the holidays without festive music? We’ve got plenty of great tunes to listen to. There is the Silver Sounds Choral ‘The Very Best Time of Year’ event on December 10 and the Soleil Singer Holiday Concert on December 13. If you feel like belting out your own tunes, join the fun at Karaoke Night on December 21. As far as theater events are concerned, The Soleil Residents Theater is putting on a free show on December 15, which includes ‘A Special Hanukkah Story’ by Pat Pugrant and ‘Home for the Holidays’ by Bob Naquin.
Other not-to-miss events
The Soleil Holiday Home Tour is on December 14, and it includes five beautifully decorated homes this year. Also, the Soleil Railroaders will be doing their annual train display in the Ballroom from December 27-29. With an HO-scale model of Thomas the Tank Engine, this is a great event to bring the grandkids to.
As you can see, the social scene at Soleil is quite lively. Our events (holiday-themed or not) are an excellent way for our residents to bond with neighbors and make lifelong friends. Come visit us to see what all the fuss is about. We can’t wait to meet you, show you around the neighborhood, and wish you happy holidays in person.
